Oil Type Transformers

Conventional

Nacional de Transformers - TESLA puts at your disposal the design and manufacture of equipment submerged in oil with a range of powers ranging from about kVA to 20 MVA , and voltage series up to 44 kV , using mineral oil or vegetable oil as cooling medium. according to the technical requirement, and under the NTC , ANSI or IEC standard

.

These transformers are the most used in current electrical networks; Its windings and magnetic core are completely submerged in dielectric oil which, in addition to being an insulator, has the property of serving as a cooling medium to dissipate the heat generated by the active part.

.

This type of transformer has no manufacturing limitations and has the particularity of covering a large range of voltages and therefore a large range of currents.

They are designed and manufactured according to Colombian and international standards according to the specific requirement of the client.

Its insulation system basically consists of oil and cellulose paper. Equipment with mineral oil offers a relatively low initial cost, offering a very attractive ratio between equipment dimensions and losses. Additionally, since the windings are not in direct contact with the environment, this type of transformer offers the ability to work in contaminated environments.

.

They are designed with a 65 ° C temperature rise in the windings and a temperature in the upper part of the oil of 60 ° C or less, winding material: copper / copper, copper / aluminum, aluminum / aluminum, designs with factor K for harmonic control ( K1 , K2 , K4 , K6 , K9 , K13 , K20 , K30 ), with reduced losses in the core and in the windings, protection boxes for the bushings and special accessories with alarm and trip signals.
